In accordance with Virginia law, the dog is guaranteed for ten days against any health irregularities except those due to injury or neglect after sale. The purchaser must have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian at own expense during this guarantee period. If the dog is found unfit for purchase within first ten days by veterinary exam, the dog must be returned immediately at purchaser's expense and veterinarian's signed certificate stating health problem must be submitted with the contract for one of the following choices : (i) to receive a full refund, (ii) to return the dog temporarily until s/he recovers, or (iii) to receive a replacement of equivalent value providing one is available. Seller will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills if purchaser decides to have the dog treated. After ten days, all sales are final except life threatening genetic defects develop before 2 years of age. A written statement from a licensed veterinarian will be required for a full refund. Seller has a right to request for a second opinion. Seller will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills. No other guarantee is given after the dog turns to 2 years old.
The dog is sold with "Neuter/Spay Contract" & "AKC Limited registration". Purchaser must neuter/spay the dog before ___________ old and submit a proof to the seller. AKC paper will be mailed when proof of neuter/spay is supplied in the form of a veterinary certificate. It is specifically agreed hereby that the seller is NOT obligated to provide AKC registration until and unless such veterinary certificate has been received.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Virginia in Loudoun County to the exclusion of any other forum and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
